Welcome! I'm Joshua Helfferich. I work in IT, mainly in platform engineering, ops engineering and CI/CD. I like building simple, understandable systems.

This site is a place for notes, experiments and bits of writing.

Other interests

I enjoy worldbuilding and writing, and I'm getting back into it. Once I have something to show I will put it on this website.

I have been playing guitar for 15+ years and intend on picking up other fun instruments in the near future.

I enjoy creating and learning constructed languages. This site includes some experimental content in a language called Toki Pona which you can find here.

This website is built in plain HTML and CSS on purpose. No framework, no trackers. It just works. It should load fast, read well, and will still work in 10 years.
